For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16).

Is there any better Biblical verse to begin this devotional? John 3:16 is one of the most recognized passages of Holy Scripture. It applies to all people, at all times, in all situations. No matter who you are, where you’ve been, or what you’ve done, God loves you. He intentionally created you. He intentionally died on the cross to forgive your sin. He calls you to faith in Him. He promises eternal life to those who love and believe in him. This is love!

How does the love of God impact your daily life?

Prayer: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, how blessed I am to know your love for me. Keep me strong in faith that I may, at all times and in all situations, apply your love to my life. In Your holy name I pray. Amen.
