READ

Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations (Deuteronomy 7:9).

How good it is to know that the Lord doesn’t change. The promises He made centuries ago, He still keeps today. The love He lavished on His people generations ago, He still showers on us today. In response to His love for the people of old, He called them to walk in His way. He calls us to do the same. We are called to live lives of gratitude for all He does for us. Even while our intentions are good and noble we fail. We often desire our broken ways over His perfect ways, yet He still loves us, forgives us, and calls us back to Himself.

What is the biggest challenge for you when it comes to living out your faith?

RESPOND

Prayer: Lord Jesus, You provided all that was needed for my salvation. In thankfulness I give my life to You in service.  I pray this in Your precious and powerful name, and to Your glory. Amen.
