READ
I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
What does it mean to “live by faith in the Son of God?” We live in a world with many voices calling us to follow them. When it comes to moral decisions and spiritual direction, who you listen to matters. Since Jesus is the Way, and the Truth, and the Life, we must listen to Him. Our God-given faith in Jesus guides us through a challenging world. Living out our faith in Jesus enhances our relationship with Him and with each other.
REFLECT
When confronted with serious decisions, how do you use your faith in Jesus to determine your path?
RESPOND
Prayer: Lord Jesus, I thank You for Your sacrifice, which has saved me. I also thank You for Your perfect life that demonstrates to me the manner in which I am called to live. I pray in Your name. Amen.
