The Message

AS WE GATHER on this weekend after our Christmas celebration, we follow Joseph and Mary to the Temple, where they will perform the traditional custom for Jesus—circumcision and naming.  As they make their way to the Temple they are stopped by two people who proclaim the Child in their arms to be the promised Savior of the world.  Today we proclaim the same truth.

White Christmas

AS WE GATHER our Advent weekend worship series, “The Colors of Christmas,” uses the familiar secular seasonal songs to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.  Today we recognize the fact that whether we have snow on the ground or not, we’ll be sure to have a “White Christmas.”

Silver and Gold

AS WE GATHER our Advent weekend worship series, “The Colors of Christmas,” uses the familiar secular seasonal songs to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.  Today we consider the true riches of life–faith in the savior Jesus, which is worth more than Silver and Gold.

Red Christmas

AS WE GATHER our Advent weekend worship series, “The Colors of Christmas,” uses familiar secular seasonal songs to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.  Today, under the theme, “Red Christmas,” we hear how Jesus and His followers are often marginalized and rejected, yet, we are a light to the world.

Blue Christmas

AS WE GATHER our Advent weekend worship series, “The Colors of Christmas,” uses the familiar secular seasonal songs to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas. Today we are reminded that we’ll have a “Blue Christmas” without Jesus.
