I Am Always With You

In these summer weekends we consider “Life Lessons.”  Our Lord Jesus prepares a place for us in His heavens, but He also prepares us to make a difference in this world.  Throughout the summer we will learn from Jesus about living the new life He has won for us by His life, death and resurrection.  With these new lives may we honor our Lord and be a witness to our world.  Today we learn of the promise of our Lord who says, “I Am With You Always.”

Sticks and Stones

During these weekends in Lent our worship theme is “Journey of Stones.”  As we journey through this world with our eyes fixed on Jesus and the gift of heaven, we find our passage is often rocky.  There are stones that weigh us down and trip us up.  We learn from stones that we need what only Jesus can offer—forgiveness, life and salvation.  Today we learn how Christ’s compassion has rescued us from sin and death.  In response to His love for us we are called to refrain from injuring one another with “Sticks and Stones” and simply love one another

Rejected Stones

During these weekends in Lent our worship theme is “Journey of Stones.”  As we journey through this world with our eyes fixed on Jesus and the gift of heaven, we find our passage is often rocky.  There are stones that weigh us down and trip us up.  We learn from stones that we need what only Jesus can offer—forgiveness, life and salvation.  Today we learn how Christ gives meaning to our lives even when we are considered “Rejected Stones.”
