The Message

As we gather on this Transfiguration Sunday, Jesus reveals to us His divinity, reminding us that He is the Lamb of God who has come to take away the sin of the World.  As we prepare to follow Him this Lenten season it is important that we acknowledge Him to be the foundation, the formation and the future of our life.

A Life of Love

As we gather during this season of Epiphany our worship series is entitled, “Life.”  We celebrate that real life comes from Jesus and living in the relationship He has created with us through the gift of faith.  Today St. Paul reminds us that using our spiritual gifts within the Body of Christ, the Church, must be based on love.  This “love” is not the love our culture seeks.  It is the love of Christ.  It is “A Life of Love.”

Life Together

As we gather during this season of Epiphany our worship series is entitled, “Life.”  We celebrate that real life comes from Jesus and living in the relationship He has created with us through the gift of faith.  Today we hear St. Paul who speaks to us concerning spiritual gifts and the joy and Privilege of using our gifts together to share the Good News of Jesus with the world.  Today we learn how we are privileged to live “Life Together.”

Gifted For Life

As we gather during this season of Epiphany our worship series is entitled, “Life.”  We celebrate that real life comes from Jesus and living in the relationship He has created with us through the gift of faith.  Today we hear St. Paul who speaks to us concerning spiritual gifts.  The Lord has not only given us life, He has also gifted us in such a way that our lives can be impactful for the kingdom.  Today we hear how we are “Gifted for Life.”

Real Life

As we gather in worship we are reminded that we cannot by our own reason or strength believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, but the Holy Spirit has called us through the power of His Word in the waters of baptism.  Today we reaffirm who we are in Christ, who calls us to be His witnesses today as we await His gift of life eternal.

The Message

As we gather in worship, we recognize that the greatest wisdom one can possess is a faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and a trust in Him alone as our gift of forgiveness, life and salvation.  Solomon was told by the Lord that he could ask for anything.  Solomon asked for a discerning heart.  Today we discover the joy of a heart that rejoices in the Lord.

The Gifts of Christmas: Myrrh

The Gift of Frankincense

As we gather to worship in this season of Advent we recognize that the greatest gift we have is found in Jesus, who left the glories of heaven to take upon Himself our humanity and become the sacrifice for the guilt of our sin.  It is a joy for us to respond to the grace of God.  As the Wise Men brought gifts to Jesus, so we too offer Him our gifts.  Today we consider “The Gift of Frankincense.”
